Tainan West Market (Dà Cài Shì)

Located within the Ximen Qingcao Market, West Market boasts over a century of history and is regarded as a landmark deeply rooted in the collective memory of “Old Tainan.” Blending with the culinary delights and creative shops of Guohua Street, it has become one of the trendiest new attractions in the city. After being closed for several decades, the market was restored and officially reopened on August 21, 2025.
